    DINING

Restaurant Haerlin - This Michelin-starred restaurant is furnished with 16th- and 17th-century Flemish gobelin tapestries, timber flooring, antique Chippendale and Art Nouveau furniture, fresh flower arrangements and chandeliers. This à la carte restaurant serves classical French cuisine with Mediterranean elements for dinner. Live piano music in the evening and the view over the Alster Lake complement the restaurant’s first class Kaiserservice. The menu includes duck and saddle of venison, all carved at the table, as well as an extensive selection of international wines. Guests are expected to wear formal dress.

Jahreszeiten Grill - Built as a tea room in the 1920s, this quality restaurant is decorated in an Art Deco style, with timber flooring, stucco on the ceiling and walnut wainscoting. Hanseatic dishes and international grill specialties are served for lunch and dinner, including the traditional Atlantic sole fish. Grilled dishes are prepared at the table and guests are free to choose individual sauces and side orders. In addition to the à la carte menu, a business lunch menu is also served.

Café Condi - Decorated in Biedermeier style, this café and restaurant was first opened in the 1930s and serves the popular Jahreszeiten breakfast buffet with freshly prepared egg dishes. Timber flooring, antique tapestries and carefully selected paintings and drawings create a warm ambience for light lunch and dinner à la carte. Hotel guests mingle with locals, who equally enjoy the specialty cakes, such as the champagne cake and the mousse-au-chocolat cake, together with the view of the Alster Lake.

Raffles Deli - This modern café combines European coffee house style with American coffee shop ambience, with a minimalist wood and marble decor. Coffee and cake specialties, as well as countless bagel and sandwich variations, are served throughout the day for take-away or eat in. Guests enjoy muffins or cream cheese brownies, sitting on bar stools with views over the Alster Lake.

Doc Cheng’s - Located in the basement of the hotel, this restaurant serves European-Asian fusion cuisine in a mélange of Far Eastern and Western 1920s-style decor. Oriental wood carving, black and white photographs, chandeliers and antique furniture with red and gold patterned fabrics create a intimate atmosphere. Prepared in a showroom kitchen, the lunch and dinner dishes are based on traditional Asian recipes, enriched with fresh European and Asian ingredients. The menu includes sushi, sashimi and tuna tartar and a choice of 20 international beers and extensive wines.

Bar Indochine - Part of the Doc Cheng’s restaurant, the decor recalls Shanghai from the 1920s with black and white photographs, wood wainscoting and comfortable wicker chairs. The bar serves 36 international beers, including beer from China, Japan and Singapore, as well as exotic cocktails, spiced up with ginger, curry and lemongrass. The popular Doc Cheng’s Lemon consists of lime, contreau and passion fruit juice, while the bar’s Singapore Sling is reputed to be the best in Hamburg. A wide selection of cigars and cigarillos can be ordered.

Jahreszeiten Bar - This small two-story bar is decorated with dark-wood wainscoting has seating made from red Rolls-Royce leather, as well as antelope leather tapestry and a 16th-century wood church door.
